Construction of the six-lane Zhiybek-Zhol Bridge. The mayor instructed to check the quality.

In Bishkek, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev held an on-site meeting to review the progress of work on key infrastructure projects in the city. One of the stops on his visit was Zhibek Zholu Avenue, where a bridge over the Alamedin River is currently under construction, as reported by the press service of the city hall.
During the inspection, it was found that the barriers installed at the construction site did not meet established standards. In this regard, the mayor ordered the termination of the contract with the contracting organization in the near future.
Additionally, Junushaliev instructed to check the legality of the placement of facilities along the riverbed within the construction area and, if necessary, take measures in accordance with the law.
The bridge under construction will be six lanes, which, according to city officials, will significantly increase the transportation capacity in this area. The project also includes areas for organizing taxi parking, which should improve the convenience and safety of road traffic.
City services will continue to monitor the progress of construction and the quality of work being performed on this project.
