As reported by the university's press service, a resident of Osh, Alisha Korella, brought her dog Layla in with a bladder hemorrhage. She cares for several pets and pays them a lot of attention.
Layla, usually an active dog, was severely weakened at the time of the visit. After treatment, her condition improved. "I am a regular client of the clinic because the service quality is high here. When I brought Layla in, she was in critical condition, but now, thanks to the doctors, she has recovered," says Alisha.
The clinic was able to acquire new equipment and open a grooming salon thanks to nearly half a million soms. The salon employs students, such as Aruuke Kamaldinova, who notes that they came to learn and gain experience.
The clinic offers a wide range of services, including diagnostics and surgical operations. People seek help not only from residents of Osh but also from other regions, as it is the only full-profile clinic in southern Kyrgyzstan.
"Every day we receive many patients with various diseases. We also conduct vaccinations. With the funds received last year, we acquired new endoscopic equipment, which significantly aids our work," noted Bakyt Kadyrbekov.
The clinic actively consults clients and responds to calls. Doctor Adilet Asilbek uulu went to a village to assist a sick sheep.
Adilet is an experienced surgeon who explains that the surgery was postponed due to the sheep's health condition. "We receive daily inquiries about this issue," he adds.
The center also conducts scientific work. Professor Abdrasulov received a patent for a new breed of sheep called "Ala-Tuu," which does not require special feed.
Currently, 274 students are studying at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, gaining practical experience by working in the clinic.
