According to him, the president had previously instructed to carry out repair work at the Sports Palace to create a modern sports center.
The mayor clarified: "The reconstruction project will be implemented by the city hall. At the same time, the historical appearance of the building will remain unchanged, and the Palace itself will become a multifunctional center, similar to the 'Zhashtyk Arena.' The swimming pool will also be preserved."
He added that a working group has been formed to address the reconstruction issues, and an assessment of the complex is currently underway.
