In the center of Osh, a privatized bus depot with broken buses was found — it is valued at 2 billion soms and there are plans to return it to the state.
According to the city hall, during the visit, it was revealed that the bus depot had previously been privatized and is now in private hands. In this regard, relevant services were instructed to check the legal status of the property and take steps to return the bus depot under municipal control.
Additionally, the authorities decided to clean the bed of the Kayyrma canal and carry out sanitary pruning of trees that are growing chaotically.
The issue of ownership of the land plot was also discussed during the inspection.
According to preliminary data, the property may be registered with the State Property Management Fund under base number 2909. The cadastral authorities were instructed to urgently prepare the necessary documentation.
Special attention was given to the decommissioned buses on the territory of the bus depot. The issue of their disposal, including scrapping, is under consideration.
The city hall noted that the plot is located in the central part of the city and is of great importance for the development of urban infrastructure. In the future, it is planned to use this area for the placement of municipal facilities related to transportation.
According to preliminary estimates, the area of the land plots is about 5 hectares, and their value in national currency may reach approximately 2 billion soms.
Relevant authorities have been instructed to promptly clarify the documents for the plots and take appropriate measures.
