Orthodox Christians celebrated the Epiphany. Photo report
On January 19, Orthodox Christians celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany. That night and throughout the day, believers traditionally performed baptisms in ice holes, despite the cold weather.

The immersions took place in specially prepared locations, where safety was monitored by rescuers and medical personnel, ensuring all necessary precautions were in place.

The ritual of bathing in the holy water symbolizes spiritual purification and renewal. Many Christians emphasize that participating in this ritual is an important expression of their faith and a continuation of a centuries-old tradition.
