According to the akimat, Azamat Osmonov, the authorized representative of the president in the Chui region, initiated the removal of all inscriptions that negatively affect the aesthetic appearance of the area.
It is worth noting that not only product manufacturers use such inscriptions for advertising; government bodies and enterprises also actively promote their services through stone inscriptions.
The fight against the placement of advertising inscriptions on mountain slopes began more than ten years ago. In 2015, member of the Jogorku Kenesh Erkingul Imankozhoeva raised the issue that using mountains as advertising space had become a tradition in the country.
“Guests laugh at us. There is nothing like this in the world. I propose that the government impose a ban on placing inscriptions on mountain slopes,” she stated.
