The major renovation of the House of Culture in the district began during the pandemic, but the project is still not completed. Due to suspicions of misappropriation of budget funds, the work of the company "At-Bashy Jashtary," responsible for the renovation, has been under investigation by the At-Bashy Department of Internal Affairs for two years.
Authorities have reported that investigative actions are ongoing, a construction expertise has been appointed, and no actions can be taken until the results are received.
Employees of the House of Culture have repeatedly faced the necessity of changing workplaces and wintering in warmer premises. This year, due to the lack of heating, they had to install electric heaters in the offices; however, they are already heavily worn out and unable to provide sufficient warmth.
As a result, workers continue to be at their workplace in warm clothing, including coats and gloves. Cases of illness among employees due to low temperatures have also been recorded.
