The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktay Urmambetov, Chief of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital Azamat Toktonaliev, as well as leaders of various departments and veterans of the internal affairs agencies.
The main focus of the meeting was on issues related to maintaining public order and safety, combating crime, preventing offenses, as well as matters related to domestic violence and the functioning of the licensing and permitting system.
Following the discussion of the reports, the leadership of the Main Department of Internal Affairs formulated a number of directives concerning the strengthening of discipline and improving work efficiency. Some departments received principled evaluations, and several leaders were held accountable for disciplinary violations due to shortcomings in the performance of their duties.
In addition, within the framework of the event, awards were presented to the winners of departmental competitions "Best in Profession" and "Best Veterans Council."
