According to the publication, Zimmer will work on the soundtrack alongside musicians from the Bleeding Fingers studio — Anže Rozman and Kara Talve.
In his statement, the composer noted: "The music of 'Harry Potter' is a universal language for composers around the world, and it is a great honor for us to be part of this impressive team in such a large-scale project. We, myself, Kara Talve, and Anže Rozman, approach this task with complete seriousness."
The series will begin airing in 2027 on HBO and HBO Max. The project will consist of seven seasons, corresponding to the number of books by J.K. Rowling, who is also involved in producing. The new series will focus on the original books and storylines that were not included in the films. The first season of the adaptation is expected to be released in 2027, with a total of seven seasons planned.
