In the harsh winter cold, the border guards of Kyrgyzstan continue to fulfill their duties of guarding the border in high-altitude and hard-to-reach areas, especially along the border with China in the Naryn region.

According to the Border Service, temperatures in this region can reach −30 to −50 degrees Celsius.

Despite the severe frost and adverse weather conditions, the servicemen of the Border Service are on duty around the clock at their posts.
