In Bishkek, 17 people were poisoned by shawarma
“This morning, the first child with symptoms of poisoning was admitted to the RКIB, and then after lunch - another one. By evening, the number of affected individuals increased to 17. Of these, four were transferred for outpatient treatment, while the remaining 13 remained hospitalized. Four of them are children, the others are adults. The condition of all is stable, they are receiving the necessary assistance, tests have been conducted, and an epidemiological investigation is ongoing,” the department reported.
According to preliminary data, the victims consumed shawarma at the fast food establishment Daamduu.
It should be noted that this is not the first case of mass poisoning. In June of last year, 20 people sought medical attention.
