Bayraktar Drones Begin Patrolling the Border of Uzbekistan

At the state border of Uzbekistan, the combat duty of a new special unit has commenced, which utilizes operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles Bayraktar, as reported by Podrobno.uz.

Currently, 42% of the country's borders are equipped with video surveillance systems, and over one thousand kilometers of fiber-optic communication lines have been laid.

“The border troops are fully equipped with weapons and ammunition. The equipment with vehicles is 98%, with watercraft — 88%, and with electronic-optical means — 78%. In addition, the units are equipped with modern drones,” the official statement notes.
