The presentation of the poetry collection by Alykul Osmonov took place in Hungary.
On January 14, an event dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kyrgyz poet Alykul Osmonov took place at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary. During this event, the first copies of his poetry collection in Hungarian were handed over.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that this literary project became possible thanks to the efforts of the renowned Hungarian Turkologist Shomfai Kara David and with the support of the Kyrgyz embassy in Hungary. The aim of this project is to promote classical Kyrgyz poetry and strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
The collection includes translations of the most significant works of Osmonov, which demonstrate his profound philosophical thought, humanitarian ideas, and the national traditions of the Kyrgyz people.
An important role in this project was played by the main sponsor of the initiative, the well-known lawyer and philanthropist F. Papchak.
