The building "Ai-Pery" in Bishkek has undergone a significant transformation after being in a state of neglect for a long time. It is now a modern office center that retains its historical style. This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, during an interview.
Previously, "Ai-Pery" was used as a household services complex, housing various enterprises. However, over time, many of them closed, and the building began to fall into disrepair.
"When the building was abandoned, there were no investors willing to restore it. Small shops and canteens began to appear around, leading to the loss of its historical appearance. Since 2024, active work has begun in Bishkek to attract investments. As a result, a Vietnamese company became an investor and purchased the former Ak-Kula racetrack for 5.8 billion soms. They later decided to also buy the "Ai-Pery" building to continue their business activities," the mayor said.
According to him, after the purchase, an agreement was reached to preserve the historical style of the building, which led to extensive renovation work. The architectural appearance and internal mosaics, preserved since its construction, were fully restored.
"Now this building adds aesthetic value to the city and is equipped with modern technologies," noted Aibek Junushaliev.
It was also revealed that the Vietnamese company plans to build a modern multifunctional residential complex on the site of the Ak-Kula racetrack.
"This is an important investment project for our city. As part of the construction of the residential complex, up to 30% of the area will be allocated for green spaces. Preliminary estimates suggest that the total investment will exceed 30 million dollars. The implementation of this project will make a significant contribution to the capital's economy. Work is also underway to update the urban infrastructure. The construction of the residential complex is planned to be completed by 2028-2030. As for the "Ai-Pery" building, it has fully transitioned into the ownership of the company, and in the future, the investor may carry out its renovation and build large modern facilities. Currently, layouts and concepts for the future residential complex are presented in this building," the mayor added.

He familiarized himself with the conditions created after the reconstruction of the business center, as well as with the innovative solutions implemented in the organization of modern office spaces.
During the visit, information was presented about the functional capabilities of the center and its significance for the development of the capital's business potential.
