At a meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satiev, at the central office of the Judicial Department, important issues regarding the digitalization of the judicial system were discussed.

According to the press service of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, the focus was on equipping courtrooms with audio and video recording systems. Currently, out of 193 courtrooms, 157 are already equipped with the appropriate systems, and installation in another 40 courtrooms is nearing completion. However, in a number of premises, the equipment has malfunctioned, and negotiations are currently underway for the supply of necessary spare parts for their restoration.

In addition, issues related to logistical support, as well as the physical training and armament of bailiffs, were discussed. The head of the Supreme Court emphasized the importance of these aspects and instructed to develop detailed proposals for improving the situation in the shortest possible time, noting the key role of bailiffs in maintaining order during hearings and in the forced appearance of individuals.
