The opening of the kindergarten "Aidanek" took place in the city of Osh after its major renovation, as reported by the local mayor's office.
Attending the event were Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev, Chairman of the City Council Bolot Bayetov, as well as representatives of the authorities and parents who familiarized themselves with the updated conditions in the kindergarten.
The building was ceremonially put into operation by President Sadyr Japarov in an online format, as part of the People's Kurultai.
The two-story kindergarten, which now accommodates 370 children, was in an emergency state before the renovation, which created difficulties for its operation. The mayor issued instructions for a major reconstruction, as a result of which modern conditions were created: playgrounds, benches, and gazebos were installed.
Illegal constructions around the kindergarten were also removed, allowing the institution to regain 12 acres of land.
"Construction work started in September 2025 and was completed in December. Now, 670 children will be able to study in the kindergarten 'Aidanek'," the mayor's office noted.
