
Igor Zolotovitsky, rector of the MKhAT school-studio, actor in theater and cinema, as well as a teacher and director, passed away at the age of 65. This was reported by Meduza.
Since 2013, Zolotovitsky had been leading the MKhAT school-studio, where he also shared his knowledge of acting with students. His passing occurred in a hospital room, and the cause of death was an oncological disease.
His filmography includes significant works such as "Non-professionals" by Sergey Bodrov Sr. (1985), "Dark Nights in Sochi" by Vasily Pichul (1989), "Taxi Blues" by Pavel Lungin featuring Pyotr Mamonov (1990), the comedy "Faster than Rabbits" with the participation of the theater "Quartet I" (2013), and many other Soviet and Russian films. He also participated in popular series such as "Turkish March 2," "Kamenskaya 3," and "A Brief Course in a Happy Life."
