In Bishkek, Auezov Street is being reconstructed. Old trees will be cut down there.

The Vice Mayor of the capital, Ramiz Aliyev, shared plans for the reconstruction of Auezov Street, located in the "Alamedin" microdistrict. The information was published on his social media page.

Work will begin in March and will cover the section from Jibek Jolu Avenue to Salieva Street, as noted by the official.

According to him, the plan includes widening the road with the creation of parking spaces and sidewalks on both sides. All existing supports, including poles and other structures, will be dismantled. A wide sidewalk with a bike lane and green area is also planned.

The Deputy Mayor also discussed the condition of green spaces in the area.

Dear residents, pay attention to the condition of our trees! We plan to replace them with new saplings. The poplars will be removed, and in their place, we will plant five-meter saplings.

He did not provide information on who is responsible for the current state of the green spaces. Furthermore, according to him, all buildings located beyond the red lines will be demolished.

The city hall is confident that the reconstruction of Auezov Street will significantly improve the transportation situation and the appearance of the area; however, the details of the project implementation are still under discussion.
