The authority to approve air protection standards has been transferred to government agencies.
According to the new provisions, the list of powers delegated to state bodies and executive bodies of local self-government now includes a new item. This means that the authorized structures will be able to develop and adopt regulatory legal acts concerning the protection of atmospheric air and the ozone layer, including procedures, standards, norms, and methodologies.
In the explanation from the cabinet, it is stated that the changes are aimed at streamlining the regulatory and methodological framework in the field of air protection and clearly distributing functions among various state authorities.
The resolution will become mandatory ten days after its publication.
