Strong winds are expected in Bishkek and the Chui region

A storm warning has been issued in the capital of Kyrgyzstan and the Chui region due to the expected deterioration of weather conditions.

According to data from Kyrgyz Hydrometeorology, strong eastern winds are expected within the next three hours, as well as in the evening, with speeds reaching 15–20 meters per second.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations strongly recommends that the public exercise caution: avoid being near trees, billboards, and power lines.

In case of emergencies, citizens should immediately call the number 112, which is available 24/7 and free of charge.
