Warm weather affected the biological rhythms of plants: Primroses bloomed in January
Photos of this early blooming were taken on the same day. The warm conditions (+10°C during the day and pleasant nights) caused nature to show the first signs of spring significantly earlier than usual.
“This phenomenon confirms how climate change affects the biological rhythms of plants. Snowdrops are among the first plants to respond to warming and increased solar activity, indicating global climate shifts,” noted Tatiana Ivanova.
Earlier, Turmush reported that in the first days of January 2026, tourists noticed snowdrops in the foothills of the Sokuluk district.
“I saw these spring flowers so early for the first time,” shared nature enthusiast Alexander Sosin.
