In the first half of the new year, a meeting was held in Batken, attended by the plenipotentiary representative of the president, Aibek Shamenov, and local administration leaders. The information was provided by the press service of the representation.
Shamenov emphasized that after resolving issues related to borders and security, the region faces an important task — comprehensive socio-economic development. He urged all meeting participants to act in accordance with the law and to demonstrate maximum responsibility.
During the meeting, key priorities were identified:
- ensuring rational and targeted use of electricity;
- analyzing the situation regarding coal supply for the population;
- inventory of land plots;
- completion of the land amnesty process;
- regulating the operation of large markets;
- addressing issues related to the construction of markets in Kyzyl-Kiya and Batken, as well as a new bus station;
- strengthening measures to prevent road traffic accidents;
- active participation in competitions to form a personnel reserve in government agencies.
In conclusion of his speech, Shamenov noted that the time has come for active promotion of Batken's development and for uniting efforts to achieve the set goals.
