From January 12 to 18, viewers can look forward to many long-awaited premieres on streaming services and TV channels. This includes a return to the world of 'Game of Thrones', spy stories set in 1970s Moscow, as well as new seasons of popular anime.

‘Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight’, fantasy, premiere (January 16)

The plot unfolds in Westeros a hundred years before the events of 'Game of Thrones'. The Targaryen dynasty still holds the Iron Throne, but only through the fear of its subjects, as real dragons have long been dead, and their power has turned into legends. However, significant changes are brewing in the country, and outstanding figures like Ser Duncan the Tall—a wandering knight seeking glory and adventure—emerge on the horizon.

‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’, sci-fi, premiere (January 15)

This series develops within the 'Star Trek' cinematic universe, taking place in an educational institution. The central Starfleet Academy is located on Earth, in San Francisco, where cadets are preparing to take key positions in the space forces of the United Federation of Planets.

‘PONY’, thriller, premiere (January 15)

The film is set in Moscow in 1977. The main characters are two secretaries working at the American embassy who find themselves in the shadow of events. Their lives change when their husbands die under mysterious circumstances, and they become CIA operatives. Bea, who speaks Russian and grew up in a family of Soviet immigrants, and Twyla, a simple girl from the provinces, begin to uncover a major conspiracy from the Cold War to understand why they have become widows.

‘The Seven Dials Mystery’, detective, premiere (January 15)

This adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel tells the story of how a lavish party in the countryside ends in murder, and a witty aristocrat takes on the investigation.

‘Hijacked Flight’, thriller, second season (January 14)

The main character, experienced police negotiator Sam Nelson, tries to save passengers taken hostage by terrorists on a plane flying to London. The crew is in the hands of criminals, and the police have only a few hours to prepare an operation. During this time, Sam maintains contact with the hijackers, using his wits to prevent rash actions on their part.

‘Lie to Me’, drama, third season (January 13)

The plot centers on Lucy Albright, a girl who is enchanted by Stephen DeMarco, a man with a mysterious past. After Lucy leaves her mother and starts life in college, she experiences new emotions and adventures. Their relationship leads to unexpected consequences that neither of them could foresee.

‘Galaxy Prince’, animated film, premiere (January 16)

The Pardonov family faces constant misfortunes, using up all their chances at bad luck in a short time. When they are abducted by a UFO, they learn about their heritage—a planet called Gapos—and decide that they are finally lucky. However, it soon turns out that this is not luck but the beginning of new problems when a robot rebellion breaks out on the planet, and the family has to escape from killers sent from across the Galaxy.

‘Frieren: Beyond Journey's End’, fantasy, second season (January 16)

After defeating the demon king, the heroes return home, reflecting on their ten-year journey. Frieren, Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen struggle with farewells, as time flows differently for elves. Frieren watches as her friends leave this world, but before his death, Heiter manages to introduce her to a young boy named Fern, who will become her apprentice.

‘Torture Time, Princess!’, anime, second season (January 12)

The conflict between demons and humans has reached a stalemate, and the demons decide to capture the princess to obtain important military secrets. However, the princess, despite her appearance, shows resilience and refuses to divulge the secrets. As a result, the military is forced to resort to torture to get what they want.
