Capacity of 200 people, parking for 25 cars — Osh City Hall issued a warning to the café "Atabek"
According to information from local authorities, the owners of cafés, restaurants, and other commercial establishments must provide parking for their customers. This requirement has become relevant due to the fact that, despite improvements in road infrastructure, drivers often leave their cars along the road, leading to traffic jams.
In this regard, city authorities are conducting explanatory work with the owners of food service and commercial establishments, pointing out the necessity of organizing parking zones.
However, as reported by the local administration, these requirements are not always met.
In particular, on January 9, 2026, the café "Atabek" received another warning. This establishment has parking for 25 cars, while, considering its capacity of 200 people, the number of parking spaces should be at least 120.
The city hall also noted that currently, 35 cafés in Osh have already equipped parking spaces for their customers.
____________
Turmush reported in early October 2025 that establishments without sufficient parking will be forced to suspend their activities.
This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety of citizens and reduce traffic congestion. The requirements come into effect on November 1.
The city hall also reminded that every food service establishment is required to have its own parking lot, and owners must organize the necessary parking spaces as soon as possible.

At a session of the Osh city council held on September 10, Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev stated that cafés in the city center will be disconnected from electricity and water supply if they do not provide parking.
He emphasized the need for parking spaces at cafés and restaurants in the city. "In the city center, there are establishments such as 'Atabek', 'Zhany Door', and 'Islambek'. We have had discussions with them. If they do not organize parking, they will be disconnected from electricity. Previously, despite warnings, several cafés did not build parking lots, and we disconnected their electricity," he added.
