International Quality Standards Implemented in 56 Agricultural Enterprises in the Kyrgyz Republic
According to the provided data, there is a growth in agricultural infrastructure, production is increasing, and new jobs are being created.
“Currently, there are 483 processing enterprises operating in the country, 39 of which were opened this year. There are also 5,200 small enterprises registered, 61 of which were established in 2025. The logistics infrastructure continues to develop: at present, there are 40 trade and logistics centers, 264 vegetable storage facilities, and 115 livestock slaughter points,” the message states.
Product quality has become a priority: international quality standards have been implemented in 56 enterprises. Cooperation is actively developing in rural areas — there are 821 agricultural cooperatives, of which 68 are new.
“Significant support has been provided to farmers in the area of mechanization: 9,079 units of agricultural machinery have been leased for a total of 25.2 billion soms. In addition, there are 186 inter-district commodity stations operating in the country (state, municipal, and private). As a result of the measures taken, 31,276 jobs have been created in the sector, of which 1,264 are new,” the Ministry of Agriculture noted.
