In Suzak, locals saved a roe deer from stray dogs

In Suzak, a roe deer that found itself in danger due to being chased by stray dogs was handed over to the non-profit fund "Bugу Ene." This was reported by Durusbek Zalimbekov, the head of the Jalal-Abad Regional Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

The incident occurred on January 3 in the rural district of Kök-Art, where the roe deer descended into the village and was attacked by dogs. Local residents quickly responded and helped save the animal.

“The roe deer likely came into the village in search of food when it was pursued by dogs. One of the locals noticed this, sheltered the roe deer in his barn, and contacted our representatives. On the same day, specialists transported the animal to Bishkek, where it was handed over to the 'Bugу Ene' fund,” Zalimbekov said.

The public fund "Bugу Ene" is an organization operating in Kyrgyzstan that focuses on animal protection and nature conservation. It manages the "Bugу Ene" zoo in Karakol and conducts various activities for animal rehabilitation and raising environmental awareness among the population.
