Teenagers involved in a car accident in a stolen vehicle

In the Chui region, police officers detained a group of young people suspected of stealing a car. This was reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

It became known that a resident of the village of Soviet, named J. R., born in 1983, filed a complaint with the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata district regarding a theft. He stated that on the night of January 5 to 6, his NISSAN R'NESSA vehicle, parked near his house, was stolen.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning vehicle theft.

Police officers, conducting operational search activities, were able to identify the suspects: N. A. (born in 2006), N. M. (born in 2009), and Sh. B. (born in 2008). All of them were detained and taken to the Internal Affairs Department for further investigation.

During the investigative actions, it was revealed that the teenagers were involved in a traffic accident, as a result of which the stolen vehicle overturned.

Suspect N. A. was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility. Meanwhile, the minors N. M. and Sh. B. were handed over to their parents under their responsibility.
