The Cabinet plans to reorganize two institutions under the Ministry of Labor

As part of the upcoming reorganization, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration has presented a draft resolution that is available for public discussion.

According to the project's concept, the Rehabilitation Center will be merged with the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products. This will lead to the creation of a single Republican Institution that will focus on prosthetics and rehabilitation for people with disabilities under the auspices of the Ministry of Labor. This decision aims to reduce bureaucracy in the public service system.

Currently, the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products employs 159 staff members, while the Rehabilitation Center has 46.5 positions. After the reorganization is completed, the total number of employees will be 201.5.

During the reorganization process, it is planned to eliminate duplicate administrative and auxiliary positions in the Rehabilitation Center, including posts such as director, chief accountant, and facilities manager, as well as positions for electricians and plumbers. However, specialized professionals and key areas of work will be retained.

The draft also includes new management positions, such as the first deputy director - chief engineer, deputy director for production and rehabilitation activities, and chief physician, who will be responsible for providing restorative and rehabilitation services, including the possibility of hospitalizing patients.
