Residents of Shopokov complain about the operation of the metal processing plant

According to the press service of the president's representative in the Chuy region, residents of Shopokov have repeatedly complained about the activities of a factory engaged in metal processing and rebar production.

Local residents express concern about the potential harm that the enterprise may cause to the ecology and public health. The townspeople note that for a long time, there have been issues raised regarding smoke, smog, and the deterioration of the environmental situation in the area, as stated in the announcement.

In this regard, Azamat Osmonov visited the factory to familiarize himself with its operations and to check the organization of emissions and the presence of purification and filtration systems. He instructed the relevant state agencies, including environmental and sanitary services, to conduct a full inspection of the enterprise's operations, assess its legal and environmental activities, and take necessary measures in accordance with the law.

Additionally, an evaluation will be made of both the actions and inactions of the authorized bodies.
