A marathon and sports competitions were held in the city of Uzgen

In Uzgen, located in the Osh region, a marathon and a series of sports competitions took place, as reported by representatives of the local mayor's office.

According to information from the mayor's office, the event was organized in accordance with the presidential decree "Улуттук дем – дүйнөлүк бийиктик – уңгу жол" ("National spirit – world height – main path"). The goal of this initiative is to promote active and healthy recreation for citizens during the New Year holidays. The marathon took place on January 6 at 09:00 under the slogan "New Year – the path of the nation, the right path, and healthy recreation."

Participants in the marathon, mostly youth, ran through the central streets of Uzgen, inspiring the local population to lead a healthy lifestyle.

In addition, volleyball and table tennis tournaments were organized for the residents of the city, where winners received prizes and awards.
