Sadyr Japarov approved changes to the military uniform of the GKNB employees
New changes have affected employees of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), with the exception of the Border Service. Now, a dark blue color has been established for certain elements of the SCNS uniform.
Clarifications have been made to the requirements for the insulated camouflage jacket. It must now include a yoke, hidden chest pockets, a vertical collar, a central zipper closure, an insulated lining, and a removable hood. For senior officers, a collar made of astrakhan is provided. The description of the summer field uniform has also been updated, which includes a camouflage jacket and trousers with reinforcements at the elbows and knees, patch pockets, drawstrings, and removable field shoulder boards.
Changes also pertain to headgear: for SCNS employees, a cap of yellow-green color with a dark blue band and an emblem in the form of a spread eagle has been approved. On the chest of this eagle is an image of the sun with a tündük, a sword in the right claw, and a laurel branch in the left. Senior officers with the rank of colonel are allowed to use an emblem depicting the State Coat of Arms of the Kyrgyz Republic.
There are also clarifications regarding the rules for wearing uniforms: for the SCNS, a special uniform has been introduced instead of the field uniform, and high black boots are replaced with special footwear.
A separate item has approved the uniform for cadets of the SCNS Academy, including everyday, winter, and parade uniforms. The summer uniform consists of a cap, a jacket, trousers, a uniform shirt in yellow-green color, a tie with a golden clasp, and black half-boots. The winter uniform includes a faux fur ushanka, a winter coat with a detachable collar, a jacket, trousers, a scarf, gloves, and black boots. The parade uniform is similar to the everyday one but is complemented with a white parade shirt, a white belt, white gloves, and an aiguillette.
