20-year-old young men won the Ayil Okmotu Arashan Cup in Kok-Boru, defeating opponents 15 years their senior.

Turmush — In the Alamidin district, in the village of Tash-Döbö, the Cup of the village government for kok-boru took place, gathering teams from various age groups, reported Turmush correspondents.

At the opening ceremony of the tournament, the head of the village government of Arashan, Samat Bolgonbaev, expressed hope for fair and united play, wishing good luck to all participants. Local elders also spoke, blessing the teams, and council deputies delivered welcoming speeches. More than 30 teams participated in the competitions.

According to the results of the tournament, the third place went to a team made up of young men born in 1993, the second place was taken by a team from 1991, and the winners were the boys born in 2006, who also received the Cup of the village government. Prizes for the winners included a cup, medals, and cash awards,” the press release stated.
