"No asphalt, just mud everywhere". Complaints about the roads in "Ak-Tilek-2" and the authorities' response

Local residents complain: "We live in conditions that can be described as dirt in the literal sense. We don't know where to turn to solve this problem. This area, although part of the city of Bishkek, looks like a village. There is no asphalt, and the roads are impassable due to widespread mud and slush. We recently installed a water supply, and after that, everything was buried without proper restoration. The contractor clearly did not perform their work properly. Although there was no asphalt before their intervention, it has now become even worse."

In response to these appeals, the press service of the Bishkek mayor's office, referring to the capital construction department, reported that all work on the water supply construction in "Ak-Tilek-2" has been completed according to the approved project documentation.
"Restoration of the road surface has been carried out on the specified streets using a gravel-sand mixture," the authorities noted. "Additionally, we inform you that the provided photographs are outdated and do not reflect the actual condition after the completion of all works."
