The traditional three-day winter festival has started in Karakol.
This event is taking place at the city's bus station and has gathered many local residents and tourists.
The opening ceremony of the fair took place today, January 5, and will last until January 7.
As part of the celebration, visitors will be able to enjoy:
national dishes,
unique handmade products,
a food court,
a children's area, workshops, and competitions,
a cultural program with concerts.
Various contests are also planned, such as "Best Dry Lagman," "Best Kurma-Tea," and "Best Craftsman," performances by ethnic ensembles, folk songs, dances, and karaoke.
The mayor of Karakol, Kanibek Adiev, congratulated everyone on the beginning of this traditional winter event and invited residents and guests of the city to participate in the fair, feel the atmosphere of the celebration, support local producers, and spend time with their families in a winter mood.
