The Ministry of Health announced where the very first baby of the New Year was born in Kyrgyzstan

The agency also provided data on the number of newborn boys and girls.


From 8:00 AM on December 31 to 8:00 AM on January 1, 177 boys and 190 girls were born in the country. There were also 9 cesarean section operations performed.

The first newborn of 2026 was a girl weighing 3.915 kg, born at the Issyk-Ata Center for General Medical Practice exactly at midnight.

During the first day of the new year, from 00:00 to 00:10, 11 children were born in Kyrgyzstan (including 5 girls and 6 boys).

The highest number of births was registered in the Jalal-Abad region – 81, in Osh and the Osh region – 68, and in Bishkek – 69.
