According to information provided by the National Statistics Committee, cardiovascular diseases rank first among the causes of death in Kyrgyzstan.
In January 2026, registered deaths from this cause amounted to 2,700, according to the Civil Registry Office.
Although there is a slight decrease compared to the previous year, cardiovascular diseases continue to be the leading cause of mortality.
Doctors express concern that these diseases are becoming increasingly common among young people. Every year, between 20,000 and 30,000 citizens aged 30 to 60 die from such diseases.
