During a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee, Deputy Gulnara Baatyrova raised the issue of the possibility of reusing opened canisters with acid solution used in hemodialysis machines.
Health Minister Damir Osmonov explained that after opening a canister, crystallization of the solution may occur within a day, which can lead to equipment damage. Thus, storing the remaining volumes is not advisable.
He also noted that the standard volume of a canister is 10 liters, with an average consumption of 6 liters per patient, leaving 4 liters that could be used for another patient.
