The relevant information was provided by the Batken inter-district center for sanitary and epidemiological surveillance for Kyzyl-Kiya.
Currently, efforts are underway to locate the animal. The victims are receiving treatment at a medical facility in the city.
“On March 2, on Jusubaliev Street, a black stray dog, presumably rabid, bit three local residents. They were provided with necessary medical assistance, including vaccination. At the moment, they are under medical supervision at the Kyzyl-Kiya primary healthcare center. Hunters are searching for the dog,” the official statement reads.
- Residents living nearby are reminded: in case of a bite by stray animals, including dogs, cats, or rats, it is necessary to immediately contact the nearest medical organization for vaccination.
