He noted that this amount has doubled compared to 2021, when the budget was 26 billion soms. It is important to mention that this sum does not include expenses for the construction of new medical facilities that are currently being implemented.
“We are actively developing primary healthcare, which is the foundation of our healthcare system. New screening programs are also being introduced. Last year, prenatal screening was launched, and we are currently updating the system and implementing neonatal screening,” Baisalov added.
In addition, he reported that last year, 10 new medical facilities were built, and the construction of 32 large facilities is currently ongoing, including perinatal centers and the National Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics.
