In the village of Archaly, a rehabilitation complex for children with disabilities will be built.

The press service of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported that, by the order of the country's president Sadyr Japarov, the design and construction of a modern rehabilitation center based on the already functioning institution "Maksat" will begin. This is aimed at developing the rehabilitation assistance system for children and increasing the accessibility of specialized medical services.
As part of the preparation for this project, the Minister of Health Kanbek Dosmambetov visited the "Maksat" center, where he familiarized himself with its infrastructure and conditions for providing assistance to children, as well as with the territory designated for future expansion.
The main goal of the project is to create a rehabilitation complex that will provide comprehensive assistance to children with cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, developmental delays, and other diseases.
The complex will include specialized centers and units for inpatient, outpatient, and day rehabilitation, as well as a correction center for children with ASD and Down syndrome, a modern center for children with cerebral palsy with 150 beds, a dormitory for parents and medical staff, as well as an educational and methodological block.
Within the framework of the rehabilitation complex, there will be rooms for rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, as well as physical therapy and kinesitherapy, offices for massage and physiotherapy, sensory integration, speech therapy, and psychology, as well as occupational therapy zones and open spaces for rehabilitation and play, including elements of hippotherapy—adaptive horseback riding, which positively affects the physical and psycho-emotional state of children.
The operation of the complex will be based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, a multidisciplinary approach, and individual rehabilitation programs with active family involvement.
Special attention will be paid to the professional development of specialists in the field of rehabilitation, the development of a family-oriented model of assistance, and the creation of a sustainable human resource potential.
This project aligns with the priorities of state policy in the field of children's health, medical rehabilitation, and workforce training, and is considered a model for further expansion in other regions of the country. The implementation of this project will improve the quality and accessibility of rehabilitation assistance, enhance the functional and social outcomes of children's recovery, strengthen the role of the family in the treatment process, and create a national center of competence in children's rehabilitation.
