Oncological hospitals need psychologists to work with patients, - deputy
Ismanali Joroев noted that often doctors inform patients of their diagnoses without prior preparation, which leads to shock states and leaves people alone with their feelings. The deputy is convinced that having psychologists in healthcare institutions could significantly help in such situations.
Health Minister Kanybek Dosmambetov agreed with the proposal and stated that the Ministry of Health is ready to consider the possibility of providing psychologists to oncology centers.
In addition, Joroев proposed to open rehabilitation centers for children with cerebral palsy and autism in the regions of the country. He noted that residents of villages often have to move to cities for long periods for their children's treatment, which creates additional difficulties. "It is important to create such centers in close proximity to their homes," he added.
In response, the Health Minister stated that rehabilitation centers for children with cerebral palsy are already functioning in Bishkek and Osh, but there is a shortage of qualified specialists. He also announced a planned salary increase for medical workers on April 1, which should positively impact the situation.
First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev added that the head of the Cabinet had previously tasked the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Labor with the construction of rehabilitation centers.
