According to the minister, the organization responsible for supplying medications to hospitals faced numerous problems. In 2024-2025, its operations were extremely ineffective, leading to a lack of essential medicines for the treatment of oncological and cardiovascular diseases — supplies amounted to only 40% of what was planned.
“We have completely renewed the leadership of ‘Kyrgyzpharmacia,’ eliminated management and corruption issues, and now the enterprise's operations are in order,” emphasized Dosmambetov.
The minister also added that the medications that were supposed to arrive in 2025 and have only just been ordered will soon be delivered to medical institutions.
