He noted that recently the State Committee for National Security discovered one such center where, it is claimed, treatment for drug and alcohol addiction was conducted.
“Many parents sent their children suffering from addiction to this center, but instead of help, it only worsened their condition by using narcotic substances and violence,” emphasized Omurzakov.
Furthermore, the deputy expressed concern that there may have been cases of fatal outcomes in this institution. He called on the Cabinet of Ministers to take control of this situation and tasked the Ministry of Health with inspecting all rehabilitation centers to identify such fraudulent institutions.
