According to the minister, the new unit is expected to employ at least ten specialists. The main task of the department will be to implement and develop digital solutions in healthcare.
Dosmambetov also noted that a working dialogue had previously taken place with the Minister of Digitalization, during which new areas of joint work were agreed upon. It is expected that the implementation of the planned projects will begin in 2026-2027.
Among such initiatives is the integration of telemedicine and the electronic timekeeping system into a single platform. The Minister of Health emphasizes that many processes in the industry are still not digitized, leading to serious systemic problems.
As an illustration, he cited the situation with the oncology service, where there is still no unified registry of cancer patients. This creates difficulties in obtaining complete information about the detection of diseases, their stages, and diagnostic methods.
The minister emphasized that the introduction of digital registries and accounting systems will help streamline operations in the industry and improve the quality of medical care.
