All district and territorial hospitals will be standardized, - Minister of Health
On February 2, the head of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev handed over 20 vehicles to medical institutions in the Naryn region, which will help address the issue of lack of service transport and improve the material and technical base of hospitals.
According to the minister, the situation in the healthcare sector is quite challenging, as many buildings and infrastructure are outdated. The country's president is actively addressing this issue and providing the necessary directives.
“Our main task is to build new buildings instead of conducting major repairs. All district and territorial hospitals must be unified and standardized. Previously, the central office of the Ministry of Health did not pay sufficient attention to these issues, which led to the heads of institutions seeking funding and developing projects independently, creating confusion. Now we must bring all this into order,” he noted.
Dosmambetov also emphasized that many reforms lie ahead. “I must justify the trust placed in me and accomplish all the tasks set within 1-2 years,” the minister added.
