The Minister of Health criticized the work of the director of the Oncology Center, Bukuev.
Speaking at a board meeting dedicated to the results of 2025, Dosmambetov emphasized the serious problems facing the oncology service in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the minister, the situation with oncology in the country raises serious concerns due to a lack of progress and fresh ideas, which hinders the training of new specialists.
“The high mortality rate is explained precisely by this. People are forced to seek treatment outside the country, mainly in Russia, which entails significant financial costs,” he noted.
Dosmambetov also reported that he has repeatedly communicated with the director of the Oncology Center about the existing problems.
“He claims that there are no problems. This creates the impression that he is either satisfied with his work or does not recognize and does not want to see the existing difficulties, which indicates his indifference to the system,” the minister said.
