Deputy Minister of Health Ryspek Sydygaliev informed that within the framework of this agreement, plans are in place to acquire equipment and conduct repairs in 26 laboratories.
Masabirov emphasized that in the context of the pandemic, the issue of ensuring the availability of medications, particularly their logistics, has become especially relevant. He noted that adequate efforts to support local pharmaceutical production are not being carried out.
“In 2025, a government resolution was adopted regarding the support of local producers. There are many medications in hospital warehouses, including antibiotics, but their origin remains unclear. At the same time, the information that work to support local production is not being conducted raises concerns,” he stressed, adding the necessity to intensify measures and procure local medications.
