"After the surgery, the patient was hardly attended to, and there were demands for money in the ward," the deputy quoted the letter, urging representatives of the Ministry of Health to pay attention to this issue.
He emphasized the importance of protecting patients' rights and the need to combat corruption.
The First Deputy Minister of Health acknowledged that there are indeed isolated cases of misconduct among medical staff, but the main task of the department remains the fight against corruption. As one of the steps to address this problem, an increase in medical salaries is planned, and this issue will be considered further.
