In accordance with the new changes published by the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund, amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Tariffs of Insurance Contributions for State Social Insurance" have come into effect.
According to the amendments adopted on October 29, 2025, under number 243, members and leaders of farms are now required to obtain a mandatory health insurance (MHI) policy.
Previously, they had the status of insured individuals and could access medical services under the state program without additional costs or on preferential terms.
Now, access to medical services within the MHI system is only possible if insurance contributions are paid or if there is an active MHI policy.
The MHI Fund strongly urges leaders and members of farms to obtain their mandatory health insurance policies in a timely manner.
