The deputy requests to build facilities for children with autism and Down syndrome
The deputy noted that the number of children with Down syndrome and autism continues to grow, and many of them do not have the opportunity to attend regular educational institutions.
She proposed to include the creation of such specialized institutions in the plans, at least at the initial stage, in regional centers, as there are currently virtually no such kindergartens and schools, and access to private institutions is limited.
Kurmanalieva emphasized that she is ready to present her proposals in writing if necessary, highlighting that this issue affects many families.
She also noted that addressing this issue requires cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, as working with such children necessitates the involvement of qualified specialists.
